Our Program
IDP runs a series of innovative and need-sensitive programs across the communities our Imams serve. We also undertake the responsibility of implementing a number of programs for local and international charities. We invite you to explore and donate to various causes.

Madrasah
Our orphanage program houses 70+ orphans under the care of one of the IDP Imams – Imam Emran Dawood. Please donate generously. This is Zakat eligible.

Be a Lifesaver
91% of Imams in Africa struggle to make ends meet. Your donation provides vital support.

School & Madrasah
The fund is designed to provide financial support to students and families who face barriers in accessing quality education due to financial constraints.

Zakat Al Maal
Zakah is a pillar of the faith wherein Muslims are required to pay annually 2.5% on their specific Zakatable assets. This is given to 8 categories of recipients as outlined in Surah Tawbah, verse 60.

Zakat Al Fitr
A charitable donation that must be given before Eid prayer, before the end of the month of Ramadan, for the love of Allah. Let our Imams distribute to members of their community!

Fidyah
If one has missed fasts and is unable to make them up then one has to discharge the Fidyah. Fidyah is feeding a poor Muslim for each day missed. A day includes 2 meals at $3 each.

Kaffarah
A charitable compensation made for intentionally breaking fasts during Ramadan or for breaking an oath. One broken fast = one meal for 60 people. Breaking oath = one meal for 10 people.

Imams First
The expectations of an Imam are high, but the resources are few. Help us put Imams First this Ramadan by supporting and empowering these community heroes.

Hardship Relief
A fund aimed at alleviating the burden of unforeseen financial expenses to help Imams, their families, and the community.

Explorers

Bonus Program
Through a year-round schedule of bonus events and activities focused on community upliftment, the Imam works towards receiving prizes, which include cash, gift cards, and home appliances as well as give him chances to improve the quality of life in his community

Economic Empowerment
